The thrust of this paper is Man’s Relations with God in the form of different patterns in Iranian society. The conceptual framework of the present study has been taken from the teachings of Imam Ali (AS) in Nahj-ul-Balagha. The findings of the paper indicate that the direction of religious-cultural value systems has shifted from emotional-ritual to consequential-intellectual pattern. As a result when the religious values prevail, other values are overshadowed by them.

The present article is an attempt to study the abortion and its punishment in the Iranian Penal Code as well as elaboration of the foundations of the related punishment. Basically abortion from the inception through the formation of fetus to the birth is impermissible in Islamic jurisprudence. The issue has been discussed in the four sources, that is, the Quran, traditions, reason and consensus as well as in Imam Khomeini’s fatwa.Today abortion is one of the controversial issues in the world. One of the reasons for abortion is to control the growth of the population. Islam does not allow abortion for the sake of population control. Of course if the life of the mother is in danger or if the fetus has disabilities, it is allowed. The law to this effect has been approved in Iran. The present article is an attempt to study this issue.

The International Convention of Children Rights is the most important international document on treatment of the children by the governments. From the viewpoint of this convention the illegitimate children have equal rights with other children. According to the Islamic rules although the illegitimate children do not have any relations with their parents, just like legitimate children they enjoy the following rights: life, freedom, name, nationality, and most of the social rights, but are deprived of some rights such as heritage, individual inference (ijtihad), judgment, and bearing witness.
The International Convention of Children Rights does not envisage any specific custodian for the illegitimate children, but according to Imam Khomeini's viewpoints the biological father is the custodian of the illegitimate child and responsible for his or her affairs.

communicate with others, man needs some concepts to transfer to others with the help of his language. According to some linguists, language makes us human beings.
The relationship between word and meaning has always been discussed from the time of Aristotelian logics to today’s analytical philosophy and philosophy of language. Letters play a very important role in the man’s reasoning and speech, hence they cannot be neglected. If man could not perceive the meaning of the letters he could not think. The present article is an attempt to study the viewpoints of the linguists and literati on the side of the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini about the criterion of meaningfulness of letters and their meanings.

The present article is an attempt to discuss a jurisprudential issue, that is, the daily prayers of the travelers. Is it possible to find a comprehensive title to encompass all professional groups? The viewpoints of the jurisprudents can be divided into three groups:
1 – Those believing in the comprehensive title and maintaining the idea of frequently traveling based on the traditions.
2 – Those confining themselves to the titles mentioned in the traditions, considering such owners of such vocations as sailors, postmen, etc. as frequently traveling.
3 – Those who consider professional trips valid in this exception.
The conclusion is based on the fatwa of Imam Khomeini.
