Abstract
This article is an attempt to study briefly the views of western thinrkers including the Marxists in comparison with Muslim thinkers concerning the role of personality in history with reference to the views of Imam Khomeini concerning politics and social changes.
The main question raised by this article is that whether personalities or heros play the main role in historical changes or social condisions can change their fate with relying on heros or both of them togather can change the historical conditions. The question is that by which theory can we explain the advent of the great Islamic revolution in Iran and its peerless leadership and the outbreak of certain conditions at global level.
