A Re-analysis of the Position of Subject-Matter Jurisprudence in the Jurisprudential Method of Imam Khomeini

Abstract
Subject-matter jurisprudence, by focusing on the precise analysis of subjects, plays a pivotal role in the process of ijtihad. Although at first glance its impact on inference might seem negligible, in reality, inference without considering subject-matter jurisprudence is futile and lacks efficacy. Paying attention to this area brings advantages such as facilitating ijtihad, enhancing the quality of inference, and reducing errors. The present research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, aiming to explain subject-matter jurisprudence and its mechanisms within the jurisprudential method of Imam Khomeini. The findings indicate that achieving optimal inference depends on subject-matter jurisprudence, and this requires four key mechanisms: perspectives (including paradigm, thought, and theory), information, techniques, and organization.
