We have heard that during the time of Ayatollah Boroujerdi, the Imam had appointed a committee to research and present a plan for the design of new works in the domain, the results of which caused the displeasure of Ayatollah Boroujerdi, and other issues also arose, for example, the martyr Motahari of the domain. He left and came to Tehran. You also mentioned that you published a lesson on principles for the imam, has such a thing been done about teaching his philosophy? Sobhani: Imam used to say that in ancient times he had two distinguished students in philosophy, both of whom were from Qazvin. For the first time in history, these two people approached their philosophy professor and got permission to teach philosophy, and if something was written, they wrote it, because at that time there was no recording for anyone to record. Mateen: You said that the imam used to choose his students in philosophy lessons. Did they choose the lessons they taught with themselves or with their students? Sobhani: There was no single criterion, sometimes the nature of the lesson demanded that it be a periodic lesson, and sometimes it was by the students' choice, for example, they taught the system or principles periodically, and every time the period ended, they taught the same lesson to other people.Mateen: You mentioned that before the revolution, the Imam had a plan to manage the appearance of the mosque, and after the revolution, the Imam raised many issues regarding the appearance and content of the mosque. In your opinion, how much of the Imam's views have been implemented and followed? Sobhani: What we heard a lot from him before the revolution in Qom was that he did not believe that textbooks should be changed.
