Abstract: The following article is a critique of Aristotle's limit theory from the point of view of two great Islamic sages, Abu Ali Sina and Suhravardi; One of which aims to improve and complete it and the other aims to destroy and subvert it. It has been stated in a well-argued manner and with the presentation of a new method. He investigates Sohrawardi's objections by using the words of logicians.
Machine summary: "However, according to our ruling (Buali), in explaining the meaning of nouns that imply a reference to the subject (such as symptoms) or are essential to their accessories (such as images), they are needed, because the words of the commentator must be in accordance with the meaning of the word, and whatever the word It requires, it also requires, and in this respect, things like signs and forms are not simple, but because their subject or accessories are inside their concept, they are compound and composed. It is that the philosophers considered those two as inherent in the body and defined it as a limit based on these two components; However, due to the fact that some thinkers deny the existence of these components for the body, whether they consider the body to be without components at all, or believe in inseparable components, or consider the body to be a constant value; And considering that most of the people rationalize the body without considering these components, in the sense that the concept of the body is nothing but a set of tangible things necessary for the body, this result is obtained.that none of the real facts such as earth, air, fire, water, can be reached, except through sensory observation of their appearances. However, it is necessary to mention that some of these rulings are controversial; Such as the ruling that "all the categories are rational", "all the categories are unknown according to the term mashain", "the categories are not decimal", "the essence of the body is not compound and it is simple" and these are the same rulings based on which Sheikh Ishraq established the basis of definition in logic. Aristotle said, but these rules are not accepted by many scholarly philosophers.
