Abstract
The establishment of the Islamic government in Iran is among the most important experiences in the history Shia. The issue of prerogatives of the government has challenged the viewpoints of some of the Shia jurisprudents. Since great ulama and jurisprudents like Imam Khomeini are on both sides of these intellectual challenges, it has created new issues in the Shia political thought. The present article is an attempt to shed on light on this issue and the consequences of these theoretical debates on the Shia political thought.
