Abstract
The anthropological study of the Islamic Revolution of Iran by the American anthropologist, Michael Fischer, is one of the examples of cultural approach towards the study of the revolutions, and the present article under takes to study his views about the Islamic Revolution of Iran. First his questions about the revolution are viewd, then his method and outlook about Iran before the Revolution and also his views about Imam Khomeini and the outcomes of the Revolution are studied. At the end of the article Fischer's views are studied critically.
