Abstract
The Islamic Nation Party is one of the pioneers of armed struggle on the basis of Islamic ideology in Iran. One of the objectives of the party was to present an intellectual reading of Islam and armed conflict and despite its transient life, it left a serious impact on the Islamic political currents. The present article is an attempt to analyze the viewpoints of this party including its criticism of the existing political systems (monarchy and republicanism), criticism of the contemporary political ideologies (capitalism, socialism and nationalism) and its criticism of colonialism. The Islamic Nation Party maintained that Islamic government is the best form of social system and Islam is the only way to welfare in this world and salvation in the hereafter.
