Abstract
The present paper is an attempt to comparatively study the issue of “soul” from the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini and Gazzali as an anthropological foundation of the their political thoughts. The hypothesis of the present study is: While the political thought of Gazzali is analyzable within the traditional paradigm, the indices of Imam Khomeini’s political thought go beyond the traditional paradigm.
