Abstract
The knowledge of organ transplantation has led to a number of legal and ethical issues. One of these issues is the financial relationship between the donor and the receiver. The issue of transaction of body organs has received different reactions of the religious scholars. Given the lack of explicit legal text on the issue, it is necessary to pay attention to the jurisprudential and legal foundations of this transaction. In the light of the jurisprudential viewpoints of Imam Khomeini, the present article in the first place discusses the issue that organs of the body are one’s property. Then the mode of man’s relations with his organs are discussed and finally in the light of the correctness of transactions, the transaction of body organs is legal in special cases.
