The place of silence in Wittgenstein in comparison with Islamic culture (with special reference to Imam Khomeini’s views)

Abstract
The author of this article tries to make a comperative study of silence from the perspectives of Wittgenstein and Imam Khomeini. This article contains three parts as follows: First a synopsis of Wittgenstein have been treated to show that how did Wittgenstein start his work as a logician in the course of which he distinguished the meaningful and meaningless matters. And transfered it from the narrow scope of ligic to other fields. Second, with reference to certain Hadith the views of Islamic thinkers concerning silence have been discussed. At the end it is concluded that whether or not there is any similarity between these two views.
