Abstract
The present paper is an attempt to define and elaborate the raison d’etre and theoretical approaches to the concept of justice in the political thought of Imam Khomeini. The Imam’s approach to justice is discussed from three viewpoints: gnostical ontology, gnostical semantics, and ethics. The main question of the present paper is: what is the analysis of Imam Khomeini of justice? Is Imam Khomeini’s approach to justice instrumental or teleological?
The hypothesis of this paper is: Imam Khomeini’s approach to justice is gnostical, philosophical while justice has a teleological nature
