Abstract
Ibn Kamuneh and the query he puts forth is among the cases challenging a major part of Islamic gnosticism. A number of researchers have delved into it in order to answer the said question. Among these theologian one may refer to Imam Khomeini who has elaborated on the ways of the predecessors and has also forwarded his own unique solution.
The present article is an attempt to become acquainted with the solution Imam Khomeini offers to the query of Iban Kamuneh.
