Abstract
The present article in the first place defines definite and indefinite contracts on the basis of the Article 10 of the Civil Code. The main focus of the present paper is to discuss whether Dissolution of Contract (Iqalah) is abrogation of a new transaction or a new contract and whether the legal nature of dissolution of contract is a kind of contract or a one sided disposition (Iqa’). On the basis of the Article 283 of the Civil Code the author argues that dissolution of contract is a kind of transaction.
