Abstract
"Foundations of Political Philosophy in the West", written by the late Hamid Enayat, has been critically reviewed in this article. The book has been written in a fluent and eloquent style. It briefly covers the political ideas of nine philosophers from ancient Greek up to Hobbes and pays attention to two philosophical and Christian trends. It has been written in a simple language and enjoys a logical structure. However, attempts have been make in the present article to critically review it free from any prejudice.
